However, until now it has not been possible to repair damage from kerb scrapes or corrosion/oxidation, because reproducing the lathe groove structure and powder clear coat has presented insurmountable problems, even for qualified paint specialists.

In addition, there are clear regulations from well-known German car manufacturers that damage may only be repaired up to a maximum of 50 mm from the outer edge if the damage depth does not exceed 1 mm. In the additional protection zone of the spokes, only the paint layer may be processed.
